is adderall speed?

Why are so many responders referring to Adderall as Speed? From my understanding, speed is a methamphetamine? Just wondering because I am considering Adderall as a possible alternative to Ritalin but don't want to take Speed! 7 Replies

ANYONE ELSE TRYING SAVELLA FOR FIBROMYALGIA?

This is a new medication that just came out for fibromyalgia. I have several other conditions involving spinal degeneration , herniated discs, arthritus, etc.
I've been taking this medication for a little over 2 weeks now and have worked up to the full dose. My biggest symptom seems to be upset stomach but I don't know if it's from the Savella or from de-toxing from 7 other medications that I've been on for over 10+ yrs.
Is there anyone else out there that has started this medication that can give me any information that they may have on it? 36 Replies

Necon 1/50 no longer available,the manufacturer has discontinued. I am not pleased with this .I have been taking for over a year and bee healthy and happy. Does anyone know why Watson has discontinued ??? 8 Replies

vision changes from taking boniva

I took once monthly Boniva for the first time and now I am having trouble reading. I can't read type that I was able to just days before. It started from the first day I took it. My doctor said to go to eye doctor and she is taking me off of it. Anybody else had this affect their eyesight? I also definately had frequent urination the first 2 nights. 2 Replies

Color of pill changed

I have been taking Zolpidem 10 mg for several months for insomnia. It mostly works pretty well. I got a new supply from my insurance (Medco) and instead of white, the pill is pale orange. Is there is reasonable explanation for this? 6 Replies

We are trying to find Synalgos, which my wife has taken for over 30 years for migraine management.
A few years ago it went off the market and returning 4 years later under a different manuf.
We have just been notified that it will once again become unavailable (Sept 2009). Why is it that this happens? and what if any options do we have.

We ahve tried numerous other meds but nothing works like synalgos, which causes her little if any side effects. 19 Replies

methodone withdrawal

I was at 90 mg of meth and goin to clinic everyday and sweating/hiding it from family/friends for two years. My advice, get some benzos legally to help with the withdrwl. Mixing them can be dangerous:so don't! Go cold turkey IT DOES NOT LAST LONG. Trust me 3 days physically; sweating,leg cramps, etc but I PROMISE after day 3 or 4 it is all MENTAL! These clinics sell a product, its a business to them;::: SUBOXONE is just a transfer of addiction. Attend AA meeting I do. Cold turkey feels like ur goin to go but i

Naproxen

I took a 500mg Naproxen yesterday, it took it a second to kick in. I was having a real bad headache and a friend gave me one. When I got to work I started feeling really relaxed and dizzy. It was like my body felt like puddy or I had no bones in my body. Is it suppose to make me feel this way? True enough the headache was gone and I felt like a totally different person but I didn't like the side affects it caused. 4 Replies
